One of the things that irked Gavin about the internet (and there were many) was the irritating fact that it had robbed him of his most prized conversational gambit – the innocent request for information. Although never truly desirous of the asked-for advice, his overture for such was almost always rewarded with a flattered response, and throughout the 90’s, he had maintained a very respectable string of conquests as a result. Now, however, his pick-up line was almost always met with the derision formerly reserved for his less compassionate, less politely interested competitors. Why don’t you just google it, dumbass.
